CZ Aims 30% Increase In Binance Headcount

At a time when crypto-focused companies are reducing headcounts and cutting operating expenses, Binance plans to increase its membership by up to 30%.

According to the exchange's CEO, Changpeng Zhao, who was speaking at a crypto-focused conference in St. Moritz.

CZ stated that he expects Binance to increase its team by 15% to 30% because the company is very profitable.

He also revealed that the company grew to about 8,000 members in 2022, up from about 3,000 at the start of the year.

What's more, he predicted that in 10 to 15 years, there will be a decentralised exchange larger than Binance.

He also said that they are constantly looking for ways to diversify and disrupt their business, realizing that what’s working now might now work in the future. He said they want to disrupt themselves, rather than “other people disrupting us.”
